Project Overview
The construction of this new 9,800-square-foot Center for Cancer Care consolidated Canton-Potsdam Hospital’s cancer treatment services into one state-of-the-art healing environment within the hospital’s main campus. The facility houses an open design radiation treatment center for greater patient comfort and features a doorless entry to the linear accelerator. It is one of only a few buildings in the North Country that uses a geothermal heating and cooling system.
Work was carefully coordinated to minimize impact to adjacent inpatient activities occurring in the medical and surgical procedure rooms, infusion center and PACU.
