Molnlycke Rynel groundbreaking Molnlycke Rynel groundbreakingA dozen shovel-wielding guests ceremonially broke ground in Wiscasset, Maine on Friday, marking the start of Mölnlycke Health Care’s long-awaited 37,500-square-foot manufacturing expansion.

The $7.6 million project – which is being designed by Harriman Architects + Engineers and built by PC Construction – will effectively double the existing facility’s footprint and grow its current staff of 70 employees by nearly 50%. The increased capacity will in turn help Mölnlycke meet the global demand for its specialized line of wound-care products.
